Give Thanks Day!

This year James and I have been truly focusing on the things we are grateful for. We decided to list 8 things that we are grateful for, some of them may seem a little silly but we took them for granted...
~ We are so grateful for time to spend together where homework isn't the quality time. But we are so grateful for the opportunity that James has to go to school, and the blessing it is that he has been doing so very well!
~ We both love our jobs! We have both had fast promotions and lots of new training in our jobs due to our skills and personalities. I am so proud of James and his devotion to help providing for us and I am amazed each day that he does so well in school while still working 30 hours or more a week. He is a trooper!
~ We love having our own apartment. We are so grateful for the many blessings of having a roof over our head, and are grateful for those who have blessed us in time of need, but it is so great now that we have our own place to clean, organize, and enjoy. It's just nice to have a place we can call our home and that we can have friends and family come feel of our spirit here. We are truly blessed.
~ We are grateful for dishwashers. We love the time we spend talking while washing and drying the dishes but I might cry happy tears when we actually have a dish washer. I feel like most of my time is spent scrubbing dishes! Maybe that just means I need to stop cooking. Nah, how about I just use less dishes. That sounds better.
~ We are grateful for Doctors. I have always hated going to the doctor. And I very rarely get sick enough that I have to go, but I had a very bad ear ache and couldn't even hear out of my left ear for a few days. I gave in and went to the doctor and within twenty minutes the pain was gone, I felt a million times better, and I am so grateful for that. Now we just need to get my husband through finals with this horrible cold he has and things will be great!
~ We are so grateful for missionaries! Things have been so crazy lately with all the missionaries that are out. I do my best to write each of them each week and the list keeps growing! I seriously spend more than two hours a week writing letters to those serving our Heavenly Father and I wouldn't do anything else in that time. We also love having the missionaries over for dinner when they can and it's so incredible the spirit they carry with them always.
~ We are grateful for salt! We live upstairs in the apartments and let me tell you salt will save us this winter. I am a worry wart and don't want my husband hurting himself again this year by slipping on icy stairs. We are so grateful for SALT!
~ We are grateful for music. Whether it's James playing the guitar, me playing the piano, or us singing at the top of our lungs to Katy Perry in the car, we love music. We are so grateful for the relief it brings to our lives and the peace it can bring into our homes. It is time for Christmas music!
I am gonna break the rules and give one more. I am so grateful for my family! We are so blessed to have such amazing people in our lives but we are even more blessed to be loved by some of the greatest people I could have ever asked for. I love my mom, dad, and sister more than I can ever express! I am so happy they are mine forever. I am so grateful for James family. They are so fun to be around and they raised a righteous young man that took me to the temple, and for that I am grateful. I am also so very grateful for my husband. He treats me like a queen, and I would never want to be married to anyone else. He is everything I hoped for and so much more. But most importantly I am grateful to my Heavenly family. My Father in Heaven, my Elder Brother, and My Dear Heavenly Mother. I truly know they are always with me and I love them.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Hope all was great. Too bad Ole Miss lost.... It was almost a PERFECT Thanksgiving. haha but truly I love you all!
