Memorable Adventures!

Well our little gecko made it through the trip. Zero (that's his name) didn't mind the ride. What he did mind though was no water for 2 days afterward. We thought the humidity would keep him moist enough boy were we wrong. We sprayed his cage and he drank for nearly three hours straight. Poor little guy. Sorry Z we won't try to kill you anymore. He sure is fun and we enjoy him.

We have been up to some other fun adventures. James has made a truly great friend. Duley, a wonderful man from the ward came over to teach "Farmer Jones" as he calls James...

Grandpa's tractor needed to work hard, and the garden needed some hard work. Well Duley got to teaching. Look how fun!

James learned how to disc up the ground to make good planting soil, and Duley rowed it up. Mama, doesn't Duley look just like Grandpa out there?

Here we go! The ground looks gorgeous and ready to plant. Now just need to get some plants!!! Can't wait.

Talk about a hot morning. We picked the hottest day since we have been here to work out in the garden. Good grief we might melt, but the heat is just beginning! Duley lent James this old Banjo to learn some tunes on. We replaced the strings and have been yodeling our way through the evenings. Haha Just kidding we are learning to play some tunes. Way to go James!

Grandma and I have been working hard on some flowers and look what we have growing! 

Such pretty flowers Grandma! The yard is just gorgeous. We love smelling them all! To keep the yard looking good we have to get rid of some of the unwanted pests... This creature has been a work in progress! We have tried 3 nights in a row to catch this buddy and he has out-smarted us each time. Finally Grandma and I got smarter to! Finally we have the victory. Silly rascal.
